Understanding the Collection
In addition to the normal activities of the genebank, GRU scientists are engaged in research that includes taxonomy studies, molecular characterization, crop diversity, crop evolution, crop enhancement through pre-breeding and research to develop a scientific method and basis for in situ and on-farm conservation of agrobiodiversity.
