Duties and Responsibilities:

Curator of the food and forage legume collection. These
duties include the general maintenance of the medium and long term collections,
undertaking diversity studies and seeking to expand the collection with
materials from under represented areas.

In addition to curating the food and forage legume collection he also coordinates most of GRUs
interests in Genetic Resource development in central Asia and the Caucasus which
includes organizing and participating in collections missions in the area. He also coordinates
various other PGR special projects run in
collaboration with Australian institutions and the N.I. Vavilov Research Institute of Plant Industry
(VIR), St. Petersburg, Russia.
