The Inventory of ex situ, in situ and in vitro collection was realized according to the National Program “Conservation, Development and Utilization of Gene Pool/Germplasm of Agricultural Plants, Animals and Microorganisms for the period of 2001-2005”. Thus the real size of collection of Kazakhstan are clarified and confirmed.

By 27 October 2004 National Database of Kazakhstan contains 550 accessions.
